Meh…this sort of thing isn’t new. I remember my sister attending a makeover party at a place that specialized in such things in the early nineties or so. It’s a bit icky, but seems mostly harmless.

If you get bored with this mix 1/2 sauce with 1/2 cream cheese* just a few minutes before the pasta is done. When the pasta is done toss to coat. (Precooked chicken, shrimp, etc is also good with this mix)

*more or less, you can reduce the cream cheese if you don’t have enough of use sour cream but that may need a bit of reducing and a bit of sugar
