This past Sunday’s event at Revival (783 College Street) was a day of singing, dancing and rocking out! Montreal’s Urockaoke came to town to serve as a live backup band for some karaoke style singing. A number of brave kids and their parents signed up to belt out anything from “Down by the Bay” to “Livin’ on a Prayer.” The performances were MC’d by Abdominal. During band breaks everyone grooved to tunes supplied by DJ Fase, who brought along his son Pharoah!

Living like a rock star can get tiring, so kids could also go downstairs to the chill out room where reps from Design Exchange helped out with button-making and album cover design. Back upstairs, kids could make up a band name and snap a very professional band photo.
